|More recently, André has had several bills he authored to protect Second Amendment rights, stop racist Critical Race Theory, protect election integrity, and stop overreaching executive orders vetoed by liberal Democrat Governor Tony Evers.
André has been named Legislator of the Year by Pro-Life WI, WI Professional Police Association, Wisconsin Family Council, WI American Legion, WI VFW, WI Chiefs of Police Association, WI District Attorneys’ Association, and the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.
A life-long Wisconsin resident and graduate of Green Bay Southwest High School and UW-Madison, André Jacque has worked in both the private and public sector in aiding economic development, consulting, and promoting conservative principles.
André and his wife Renée have seven children and are members of St. Francis Xavier Parish in De Pere.- I'm proud to be the only candidate in the race with a proven conservative record of fighting for our values, and have the sole endorsement of the WI Professional Police Association and Pro-Life WI. Northeast Wisconsin deserves strong leadership in Congress that won’t surrender to pressure from liberal special interests, not just someone who talks like a conservative at election time. I will never back down from protecting life, our border, and our families. I have a proven track record of conservative results in our state legislature, fighting for lower taxes, protecting the Second Amendment and all our Constitutional rights, and supporting our veterans and law enforcement.
- We have an existential threat to our public safety and homeland security at the border, with operational control by Mexican cartels as drugs and thugs stream across. This threat is also driving the unsustainable growth of the welfare state and other negative economic impacts. We need to give law enforcement the tools they need to stop criminal illegals, build the wall, and slash funding for sanctuary cities. Having English as the official language would also be a unifying policy.
- We need to rein in government and the federal spending and economic distortions that are driving inflation and the growth of bureaucracy. We need to finally actually cut spending, reduce taxes, end crony capitalism, and promote economic freedom and empowerment to encourage individual investment.

2012
André Jacque endorsed Rick Santorum in the 2012 presidential election.[17]
Issues
English as official state language
Noting that more than two dozen other states passed laws making English their official language, Jacque introduced a bill that would require state and local documents to be written in English. Jacque's bill made exceptions for the purposes of teaching another language, criminal rights cases, and other individual waivers. Jacque argued that this bill would incentivize people to learn English, noting that the value of immigrants learning English has broad political support. After his initial proposal, Republican Governor Scott Walker's office stated that the governor would evaluate the bill that reaches his desk. Milwaukee Representative JoCasta Zamarripa (D) interpreted Jacque's bill as, if it became law, preventing Spanish translations of constituent communications.[18]

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
