Biography
Annie Harala resides in Duluth, Minnesota. Harala graduated from Duluth Central High School before earning her Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and English from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and spending two years in the AmeriCorps teaching in Washington and Chicago, Illinois. She moved back to the Duluth area in 2008 and coordinated the True North AmeriCorps at the Duluth Area Family YMCA before joining the Carlton – Cook – Lake – St. Louis Community Health Board as a regional coordinator.[1]

Annie Harala and Harry Welty defeated Nancy Nilsen and Henry L. Banks to win two at-large seats in the general election on November 5, 2013. Harala and the other candidates also defeated Joshua Bixby and Loren Martell in the September 10 primary election.
