A. Gene Calvert, Jr. is the judge for the Ellis County Court at Law No. 2 in Texas. Calvert was elected to the position in the 2002 election.[1][2] He was re-elected after running unopposed on November 4, 2014, for a term beginning on January 1, 2015, and expired on December 31, 2018.[3][4]

Career
Prior to being elected to the bench, Calvert worked as both prosecutor and defense attorney in criminal cases. He also received specialized mediator training.[1]
