I am a husband and father of four. I am a 1998 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

I served over six years in the active duty U.S. Army, including two tours to Kuwait-the second deployment in response to the September 11 attacks. I transitioned from the Army as a Captain and moved to St. Louis in 2004 to attend law school at Washington University.

Since graduating from law school, I have worked as an attorney at what is now Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner; served as a state prosecutor at the Circuit Attorney's Office in St. Louis; led the fundraising division of United Way of Greater St. Louis, raising $300M for the region over four years; and served as executive director of Forward Through Ferguson, the successor nonprofit to the Ferguson Commission after the Michael Brown Jr. shooting.

I am running so that all eligible Missourians have safe, secure and ready access to the ballot, including the option to vote by mail without a notary.
