William is the most experienced and qualified candidate in District 2 with a track record of leadership as a city committee member and successful business owner. William has been involved in our community as a longtime community volunteer with the City of Irvine's aquatics programs. He also recently served on the City of Irvine's Great Park Development Task Force, and currently serves as a member of the Irvine Transportation Commission.

Over 20 years ago, William fell in love with Irvine’s well planned neighborhoods and found a supportive business community. His professional career began at Broadcom in Irvine, where he worked as a software engineer, then as a product manager. He developed long-term relationships with key decision-makers in Fortune 500 companies, contributing to Broadcom's global market expansion and kickstarting his successful career.

William's entrepreneurial spirit led him to become an owner of a hospitality portfolio, where he has overseen the growth of the business from four owned locations to over 30 nationwide. His leadership and strategic vision were instrumental in the revitalization and growth of the company.
  • Delivering a World-Class Great Park This is the largest and most important project in District 2. William has been advocating for residents and our community at city hall over the past 2 years as a member of the Great Park Development Task Force, helping to finally move the project forward.
  • Housing & Development Irvine is fortunate to be jobs-rich, a place where employers locate due to our large customer base, educated residents, professional workforce, and areas that are safe and accessible. William is a proponent for growth that locates housing near existing jobs and expanding transportation options to reduce traffic congestion.
  • Community Safety As our City Council Member, William will work to ensure that Irvine remains one of the safest cities in America. Protecting our neighborhoods will always be one of his top priorities. He will ensure our first responders and public safety professionals have the resources and training to maintain a high level of service for all of Irvine’s villages.
I believe Integrity is foundational. An elected official must be honest, ethical, and committed to doing what is right, even when it is difficult. Elected officials must be accountable to the people who elected them. This means being transparent about their actions, taking responsibility for their decisions, and being open to feedback and criticism. Also, strong leadership is essential for guiding communities, making tough decisions, and inspiring others to work towards common goals.
I believe I'm very knowledgeable and have access to a vast amount of information which allows me stay up-to-date on a wide range of topics, from policy issues to current events. This helps in making informed decisions. Also, I believe I'm a very ethical person. I adhere to principles of fairness and transparency, always aiming to provide accurate and honest information to all the people around me.
