In addition to being a small business owner for 20 years, Will Martin is the only candidate running for Lt. Governor who has served in senior roles leading major reforms and initiatives under Govs. Thompson and Walker. Will brings a wealth of experience having:

--served as Deputy Director in Gov. Thompson's Office; --led a quarter-billion-dollars in welfare-to-work reforms, helping parents gain the dignity of work, while saving taxpayers tens of millions of dollars in the first two years; --traveling 45,000 miles in a single year to work with local elected and business leaders in accelerating economic and housing development in over 100 Wisconsin municipalities; and --finalizing 120 federally designated, tax-incentivized Opportunity Zones in rural and urban Wisconsin.

In addition to helping Governors achieve their vision for Wisconsin, Will Martin has advised foreign governments on designing and implementing reforms, including the British, Dutch, Israeli governments.

Gov. Scott Walker called Will, "a real reformer who knows state government."

Lawrence Jones of Fox News Channel called him, "a common-sense conservative."
  • As Wisconsin prepares to elect the next CEO and COO of the largest institution in Wisconsin--state government itself, Will Martin is the only candidate with major management experience assisting Govs. Thompson and Walker in implementing their visions. He is ready on Day One to help the next Republican Governor get Wisconsin moving forward again.
  • Wisconsin has one of the highest state income tax rates in the nation. Will Martin knows the only way to cut overall tax rates sustainably is to shrink state government, and he will use his experience and knowledge of waste and duplication in state government to help the next Governor cut the size, cost, taxes, and regulations. Will will help slash Wisconsin income tax rates, and help seniors on fixed incomes remain in the state they love by eliminating taxation of retirement income.
  • Will Martin will get Wisconsin building and growing again by incentivizing more business start-ups and expansions and helping businesses attract, grow, and retain more talent for Wisconsin's world-class workforce.
Will Martin will...

--secure our elections by ensuring Wisconsin has one standardized way of voting and counting ballots, from the smallest town to the largest city

--shrink the size and cost of state government, consolidating across duplicative agencies and eliminating outdated programs

--cut taxes and regulations for businesses, families, and seniors, making the state a more friendly place to live, work, retire, and invest

--establish universal school choice, granting every parent the freedom to determine the best educational option for each child

--support law enforcement, first responders, corrections, and the judiciary, significantly increasing penalties and sentences for anyone using a weapon against these public officials

--attract, grow, and retain talent in order to expand Wisconsin's world-class workforce

--achieve statewide connectivity, allowing for more economic development across Wisconsin's 54,000 square miles.
