Will Coursey (b. October 22, 1978) is a former Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 6 from 2009 to 2018.
Biography
When he served in the state House, Coursey's professional experience included working as an associate vice president with Community Financial Services Bank and executive officer to Representative Jody Richards.

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 28, 2014. Incumbent Will R. Coursey ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Keith Travis ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Coursey defeated Travis in the general election.[5][6][7]

Coursey won for re-election in the 2012 election for Kentucky House of Representatives District 6. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on May 22, 2012, and was unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[8][9]
2010
Coursey's opponent in the November 2 general election was Republican candidate Monti Collins. According to official results, Coursey defeated Collins by a margin of 8,945 to 7,402.[10]

On November 4, 2008, Coursey was elected to the 6th District Seat in the Kentucky House of Representatives, defeating Marvin Wilson (R).[11] Coursey raised $91,435 for his campaign, while Wilson raised $22,623.[12]
