The question on the ballot:
Measure S: To preserve the safety and character of Wheatland, and maintain and protect general City services including essential services such as neighborhood police patrols, 911 emergency response, disaster preparedness, street paving and pothole repair, park maintenance and other essential services, shall the City of Wheatland enact a one-half cent transaction (sales) and use tax for 10 years, subject to annual audits and public review?[1] |
