West Virginia Family Courts

The Family Courts are court in West Virginia that have jurisdiction over cases, such as, divorce, annulment, and visitation rights. The Family Courts are divided into 27 Family Circuits. The West Virginia Family Courts were created by a constitutional amendment passed by voters in November 2000. These courts took effect January 1, 2002.[1]
