United States House of Representatives Committee on Judiciary
The United States House of Representatives Committee on Judiciary is a standing committee of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Initially created on June 3, 1813, to consider legislation related to judicial matters, its scope has expanded to review issues ranging from bankruptcy to terrorism. The committee also has oversight responsibility for the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security.[1]
