Timothy Bjorkman
Timothy Bjorkman (Democratic Party) was an officeholder of the South Dakota 1st Judicial Circuit.
Bjorkman (Democratic Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent South Dakota's At-Large Congressional District. He lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Bjorkman is a former judge for the First Judicial Circuit in South Dakota.[1] Bjorkman was elected in the November 2006 general election to fill the vacancy created by Ronald Miller's departure. He took the bench in January 2007.[2] Bjorkman retired on June 8, 2017.[3][4]
Education
Bjorkman received his J.D. from the University of South Dakota.[2]
Career
Prior to his appointment to the bench, Bjorkman practiced law privately in Bridgewater, South Dakota.[2]
