Tom Flanigan
Tom Flanigan (b. April 27, 1953) is a former Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 163 from 2009 to 2017.
Flanigan did not seek re-election to the Missouri House of Representatives in 2016 because he was term-limited.
Biography
Flanagan earned his B.A. from the University of Missouri-Columbia and attended Missouri Southern College. His professional experience includes working as the owner of the Thomas Flanigan Insurance Agency and as Special Assistant to Senator Gary Nodler.

2014
Elections for the Missouri House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 25, 2014. Michael Jarrett was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Tom Flanigan was unopposed in the Republican primary. Flanigan faced Jarrett in the general election.[4][5] Incumbent Flanigan defeated Jarrett in the general election.[6]
2012
Flanigan won re-election in the 2012 election for Missouri House of Representatives, District 163. Flanigan defeated Cory Hyland in the August 7 Republican primary and ran unopposed in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[7][8]

Flanigan and his wife, Anita, have three children. He has been President of the McCune-Brooks Regional Hospital Healthcare Foundation and a member of the Boy Scouts of America, Carthage and Carl Junction Chamber of Commerce, Jasper County Farm Bureau, Knights of Pythais-Carthage, National Rifle Association, Ozark Trails Council, and the Rotary Club of Carthage.[11]
