Todd Taylor (Democratic Party) was a member of the Iowa State Senate, representing District 40. He assumed office on January 3, 2023. He left office on January 2, 2025.

Taylor (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Iowa State Senate to represent District 40. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Biography

Todd Taylor was born in Ames, Iowa. Taylor earned a B.A. in English from Graceland College and a B.S. in political science from the University of Iowa. His career experience includes working as a staff representative with AFSCME. Taylor has served on the Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development Selection Board and the executive board of the Hawkeye Labor Council.[1]
