Tony Davis
Tony Davis (Republican Party) was a member of the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education, representing District 4. Davis assumed office in 2016. Davis left office on January 20, 2021.
Davis (Republican Party) won re-election to the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education to represent District 4 outright in the primary on October 12, 2019, after the general election was canceled.
Davis resigned from the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education on January 20, 2021, in order to devote more time to his job as a senior director at the National Association of Manufacturers.[1]
Biography
Davis has worked as a senior director of a workforce initiative with the National Association of Manufacturers.[1] Davis has served as the president of the Natchitoches Community Alliance Foundation and president and chief executive officer of the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce. He has also been a member of the Center for Chamber of Commerce Excellence Board and the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry Board.[2]

Davis was first elected to the board in November 2015, unseating incumbent Mary Johnson Harris (R). He took office in January 2016. He left office on January 20, 2021, in order to devote more time to his job with the National Association of Manufacturers.[1]
