Local action on climate change. Supporting the Lake Erie Bill of Rights. Green infrastructure and sustainable energy.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Grassroots organizing and rights for nature legislation

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

Mark Charles running for US president as a Navajo Native American. He is advocating to change the Constitution to represent all the people not just white land-owning males. Much of her problems in society stem from white supremacy and patriarchy and capitalism. I admire people who are working to change that.

Is there a book, essay, film, or something else you would recommend to someone who wants to understand your political philosophy?

The a Green Party's Green New Deal. Move to amend and Medicare for all

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Empathy with people and living in harmony with nature

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

An advocate in an activist who is passionate about bringing change that works for everyone.

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

Being a voice for the people and supporting citizens initiatives. Also being a help to the mayor.

What legacy would you like to leave?

Bringing the green New Deal to Toledo and sustainable energy

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

moving to a different culture from Ohio to Florida. It was one of the best things that happened for me and open me up to other people other races in a different way of thinking and living.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

I was a cashier at the Dollar Tree for about 6 months when I turned 16

The Wheel of Time

If you could be any fictional character, who would you want to be?

Captain Planet Of course!

What is your favorite thing in your home or apartment? Why?

My kids Cooper and Mirek because they are my everything!

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

Being a single parent

What kind of skills or expertise do you believe would be the most helpful for the holders of this office to possess?

Supporting citizens initiatives in representing the people not corporations or industry or lobbyists

What qualities does this office possess that makes it a unique and important part of the local government?

I really care about the people of Toledo especially those in low-income areas. Be in low-income I know how hard it is to get ahead especially if you're not represented in local office. I am also a strong advocate for environmental policy. We need to make changes at the local level because not enough is being done and the federal or state level.
