Stephen Roberts was a candidate for at-large representative on the Menomonee Falls Board of Education in Wisconsin. Roberts initially filed to run in the general election on April 5, 2016, but withdrew from the race.[1]

Roberts is a pastor at Falls Presbyterian Church. He has been a chaplain with the U.S. Army since 2009. Roberts and his wife, Lindsey, have two children.[2]

Incumbents Faith VanderHorst and Michele Divelbiss filed for re-election, while Scott Ternes opted not to run for another term. VanderHorst and Divelbiss faced challengers Lowell Kellogg and Michael Vettor.[1] VandeHorst, Divelbiss and Vettor won in the general election.

Menomonee Falls School District is located in Waukesha County in southeastern Wisconsin. The county seat is Waukesha. Waukesha County was home to 395,118 residents in 2014, according to the United States Census Bureau.[3] The district was the 41st-largest school district in the state in the 2013–2014 school year and served 4,200 students.[4]
