South Dakota Games of Chance, Amendment D (1982)

The South Dakota Games of Chance Amendment, also known as Amendment D, was on the November 2, 1982 ballot in South Dakota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have allowed the legislature to authorize state games of chance involving coin operated machines, bingo, lotteries and cards.[1][2]
