The South Dakota Powers of Retired Judges Amendment, also known as Amendment C, was on the November 5, 1968 ballot in South Dakota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have authorized judges to act in a judicial capacity after retirement.[1][2]
