Richard P. Myers
Richard P. "Rich" Myers (December 27, 1947-December 1, 2010) was a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 94th District from 1995 until his death in 2010.
In March 2010, Myers was diagnosed with prostate cancer.[1] He died at age 62 on December 1, 2010.[2]
Myers was a businessman, farmer, and served in the United States Army Reserve.
He was a member of the United States Meat Export Federation Board of Directors, and the Country Companies Board of Directors, Illinois Farm Bureau Board of Directors, and AgriVisor Services, Incorporated Board of Directors.[3]

Myers won re-election to the 94th District seat against Democrat Earl W. Godt, II. He defeated Victoria Mohr in the Republican primary on February 2nd by a margin of 7,718 to 1,749. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[4]

On November 4, 2008, Republican Richard Myers won re-election to the Illinois House of Representatives District 94 receiving 28,386 votes, ahead of Democrat Earl Godt II who received 14,894 votes.[5]

On November 7, 2006, Republican Richard Myers won re-election to the Illinois House of Representatives District 94 receiving 21,072 votes ahead of Democrat Gail Russell who received 13,616 votes.[6]
