Robert Kilo was a nonpartisan candidate for mayor of Cleveland, Ohio. Kilo was defeated in the primary election on September 12, 2017. He was a 2014 Independent candidate for District 10 of the Ohio House of Representatives.

Elections for the Ohio House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 5, 2014. Incumbent Bill Patmon defeated Eugene Miller in the Democratic primary. Edward Hudson-Bey (I) withdrew from the race before the primary. Robert M. Kilo, Danielle Shepherd and Miesha Strickland ran as Independent candidates. Patmon defeated Kilo, Shepherd and Strickland in the general election.[3]
