Rose Meza Harrison
Rose Meza Harrison was a 2014 judicial candidate for the 105th District Court in Texas.[1]
She was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 27th Congressional District of Texas. Harrison was defeated by Republican incumbent Blake Farenthold on November 6, 2012.[2]
Education
Harrison received a B.A. in political science from Texas A&M University, going on to earn her J.D. there as well.[3]
Career
Since graduating law school, Harrison has worked as a solo practitioner, assistant county attorney and chairwoman of the San Patricio County Democratic Party. Prior to that she held a host of other titles including waitress, secretary, negotiator, substitute teacher, realtor and store manager.[3]

Primary: She ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on March 4, 2014.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 47.3 percent of the vote. She competed against Jack William Pulcher.

2012
Harrison ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Texas' 27th District. She and Jerry Trevino defeated Murphy Alade Junaid and Ronnie McDonald in the May 29, 2012, Democratic primary and advanced to the runoff. She then defeated Trevino in the July 31 runoff election. Harrison faced Blake Farenthold (R), Corrie Byrd (L), and William Bret Baldwin (I) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[5][6][7]
