In 2022 I ran for St. Louis County Assessor. I am St. Louis County's largest Republican vote getter in the last election cycle with more than 196,000 votes. I lost in the historically 60% Democrat - 40% Republican County Election along those same party lines. I believe the Republican Party can do better in St. Louis County.

I am a America First, Constitutional Conservative.

I grew up the 5th of 6 children, raised Catholic, Mom and Dad both worked in the family bakery, we all worked in the family business. Pfeifer's Party Pastries was a second generation business started by my Grandfather around 1930 in St. Louis, MO.

I have been previously elected in 1999 as Alderman in the City of Brentwood, MO, where I fought for the personal property rights of my neighbors and self during a redevelopment which included the threat of Eminent Domain. I successfully coaxed, cajoled, and educated fellow Board of Alderman members to support residents personal property rights and property values. I served my single term, relocated to West St. Louis County and raised two daughters.

I am a 25 year Commercial Real Estate Broker focused Industrial Real Estate, Adaptive Re-use Properties, small to midsized mostly local owner/operator businesses. I have exposure to many types of businesses that keep our economy going and people employed.

I believe the Republican Party is changing, MO-2nd Congressional District has been redrawn and is ready for new Representation. Change is Coming!
  • Our Nation is 35 Trillion Dollars in Debt! We need to stop spending more money than is raised through taxes. We need to lower taxes. We need to eliminate Federal Agencies, we need to shrink the size of government, we need to encourage growth by getting government out of the way. We need to focus on Domestic issues, America First policies, after we as a Country are Independent and Strong financially, after every U.S. Veteran is cared for in a way that honors their service, after our infrastructure is best in class, after our Military is unparalleled, when we are safe, strong and independent, we can help our neighbors and allies. It is disrespectful to citizens of the United States that we owe $35,000,000,000,000.
  • Illegal Immigration must stop. Removal of illegal aliens must begin immediately. Our border must be secured. We are a nation of laws, we respect our laws, we expect our laws to be followed. We expect there to be consequences when laws are broken. We expect Congress to uphold our laws and hold accountable those in the Government who violate or otherwise subvert our laws, as it is Congress' Constitutional duty to do so.
  • Harnessing the abundance of our natural resources, in order to provide the citizens of the United States the most reliable, consistent, affordable methods for supporting our god given rights.
Individual Rights of United States Citizens.

Personal Property Rights of United States Citizens.
Congressional Oversight of Federal Agencies.
Sovereignty of the United States.

Our National Debt, balancing our Federal budget.
I believe that elected officials are responsible to the electorate and citizens that have elected them. Elected Officials not holding up to duties prescribed, should be held to account and removed if necessary. In the Unites States elected officials should not benefit personally from information derived from the legislative process.
To serve, not to exploit elected positions to benefit themselves.
I grew up my Father's Bakery, so my first job was to do what was asked of me, whether that be shoveling snow, cutting grass, pulling weeds, gluing doilies to cardboard rounds for cakes. I have been a full service gas pump attendant, I have bussed tables, been a waiter. Those were the jobs I had growing up.
It is the governing body that is supposed to be the most reflective of the mood of the country. The two year term is supposed to make accountability readily available to the voters.
Understanding service and an individual with a wide range of experiences and exposure to the District and has a close understanding of the districts needs and wants though engagement is my ideal Representative.
The National Debt. We need to balance our budget.

Border Security.

Economy, we need a strong and independent economy with the ability to self sustain when necessary.

Erosion of Individual Rights by bureaucrats do to lack of oversight. We need a more engaged class of elected officials focused on preserving God given rights and freedoms.
We have them every election. While incumbency has it's strength, the voters do their job when pushed. Personally 3 terms is a goal for my service and at the same time encourage and develop interested servants to be ready to serve.
I always look for the upper hand in negotiations, I will prepare for such negotiations with Missouri's 2nd Congressional District at the forfront.
I would lend the strong voice of Missouri's 2nd Congressional District to the discussion and look to decrease taxation and to shrink the size of the Federal Government.
To root out waste of tax dollar and stop programs and or expenditures relating waste.

Find fraudulent expenses and stop programs and or expenditure related to fraud.

Find abuse of those elected or appointed members of the Government and bring them to account.

Disclose everything. I think we have suffered a great deal by the lack of accountability. Members of Congress seem to take home much more than what the Congressional salary provide.

Campaign website

Pfeifer’s campaign website stated the following:

My Platform:

I'm an "America First" Constitutional Conservative. Period.
I believe Congress must focus on critical domestic issues immediately:

  • ending illegal immigration
  • out of control government spending
  • inflation and the cost of living
  • distrust in our election system
  • incompetent leadership

We can't send our wealth to other nations

while we are borrowing and spending ourselves into historic levels of debt.

We can't send a 6-term, status quo politician back to D.C.

We can't afford to.

MISSOURI CAN DO BETTER

The 2nd Congressional District needs a new voice in the United States House of Representatives

I'm Peter Pfeifer and I'm

  • 100% Pro-Life
  • 100% Pro- First Amendment
  • 100% Pro-Second Amendment
  • 100% Pro-Missouri
