Paul Haerle
Paul R. Haerle was a justice on the First District, Second Division of the California Courts of Appeal. Haerle was appointed to the court by Governor Pete Wilson, confirmed August 8, 1994, and retained by the voters to 12-year terms in 1994 and 2006. He retired in June 2014.[1]
Education
Justice Haerle received his A.B. from Yale University in 1953 and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School 1956.[2]
Career
From 1956 to 1964, Haerle was with the law firm Thelen, Marrin, Johnson & Bridges. From 1967 to 1969, he served as Appointments Secretary to former Governor Ronald Reagan. From 1965 to 1967, and 1969 to 1994, Justice Haerle was a partner with Thelen, Marrin, Johnson & Bridges in San Francisco, California.[2]
