Obi Ezeadi is not a lawyer, he is simply a community servant who has lived the same struggles as you and now works hard to defend our democracy and make government work for us. He is a first-generation American, City Councilor and community leader, known for being an altruistic representative of the people. Obi has sparked a democratic renaissance in his community, galvanizing an unprecedented surge in youth engagement in politics. His efforts brought a wave of new voters into the fold and he continues to redefine the standards of constituent communication, setting a new benchmark for a participatory democracy.

Obi was raised by a working-class mother and school teacher who imprinted in him an entrepreneurial spirit as he witnessed her economic mobility from destitution to self-sufficiency. Obi is now a small business owner, MBA, and City Councilor with 16+ years leadership in community nonprofits, Housing, Healthcare, Transportation and Technology. He serves on the board of directors of several nonprofits, including Early Childhood Partnership, Colorado Young Leaders, and Westminster Legacy Foundation. Obi was elected to Westminster City Council as only the 2nd Black councilor in 110 years, and won with the most votes in the city’s history for a councilor. Obi has been professionally certified in Strategic Planning, Project Management, and Supply Management.

Obi's vision is to fund our schools and reduce cost of living across childcare, housing, healthcare, and more.
  • Rebuild trust in government: Creating a responsive, collaborative and effective state legislature you can trust.
  • Lower living costs: Making childcare, housing, and healthcare more affordable for working families.
  • Support our schools: fully-funding our public schools and teachers for a brighter future.
