Gasai Yuno is one of the main characters in the the show Mirai Nikki.
She is named after the Roman goddess Juno.
Yuno's behavior was the result of her parents, who used to be loving parents before becoming demanding and pressuring their daughter to be the perfect citizen to the point they would lock her up in a cage and only allowed her certain amount of time for her to sleep and how much food she ate. Their treatment drove Yuno insane up to the point that she locked her parents in the same cage, hoping they would realize how she felt and change back to their old-selves only for them to die of hunger. To hide her parents' death, she made a cover story that they were working over-seas but Yuki would later learn about this as well as the truth after Aru investigated the bodies.
Well guys, the series our little girl was in has finally finished. I must say I enjoyed the happy ending in the manga. Even though it seemed a little tacked on or artificial. Despite her twisted love Yuno still did more for Yukki than any female in his life.
I mean.. I actualy stopped watching the anime 'cause I simply couldn't stand the waiting for the next episode after episode 5/6.
I know what you mean, I find myself checking gotwoot so frequently... but the manga I take it was well done and a good read?
To be quite frank, I rarely read manga unless I like the artwork and the plot is to my liking.
I usualy go for the sci-fi ones with ESP powers or mechas, or ones with sword battling.
This one was actualy an exception and I cannot say I was dissapointed.
The anime portrays the manga quite well on the first episodes, that gave me a boost of confidence to continue reading. Plus, the anime adaptation has good animation and good BGM, hence I can look forward to review the show with the increased 'mood' thrill.
Initialy I thought reading the manga and then watching the anime would be a "buzz kill" for some shows, since you already know/assume the direction the anime is going to take, but I must be fortunate, since the ones I've read so far haven't dissapointed me at all.
1st World Gasai Yuno wins the game and decides to go back in time thus originating an alternative world/universe/timeline, where she kills and takes hold of the cellphone from the 2nd world Gasai Yuno.
The Gasai Yuno we all love is not from the timeline we are watching. The one supposed to be from this timeline is dead.
I might have missed something, but I don't think the series went into much depth concerning what happens to a diary after a future diary owner dies. I'm thinking maybe it's cause of Murumuru, what you guys think?
To be fully honest, I myself won't be able to give you a clear anwser regarding manga vs anime comparison.

I then went and read all the manga, now waiting for the anime to end to finally start watching it again.
I just know I'm going to be upset by a lack of Yuno in 3 weeks time (I really can't believe how amazing she is, I haven't been this interested in backstory and whatnot for a character in ages, she's like a big jigsaw puzzle and each week we see more pieces). Anyhow point being, I generally dont read Manga but when the anime finishes, would I gain anything extra by reading it?
I've rewatched ep 23 and first 40secs of ep 1 (who would have thought we knew that far back) 3 or 4 times already...

Well one thing that confuses me is this.
Humm.. Explanation below.
