NOTE: Not all Internet video devices support YUPPTV® app. A BRAVIA® Internet Services page has been setup to help you identify which apps your Sony® Blu-ray Disc® player or Sony TV supports.

This article provides information regarding the two ways that the YUPPTV app can be accessed on the Internet Video device.

IMPORTANT: Make sure of the following, prior to following the steps in this solution:

• The Internet video device is connected to an active Internet connection.
• The Internet video device has been registered on the Sony Essentials website.
• The Internet Video device should have the latest system software (firmware). The latest updates can be downloaded using the Network Update feature found in the Settings or Setup menu of the Internet video device.

Follow these steps to access the YUPPTV app from the Internet Video menu.

1. Using the supplied remote, press the Home button.
2. Select Internet Video.

   NOTE: If the Internet Video option is missing, Select Refresh Internet Content from the Network section of the menu and repeat step one.

3. Select YuppTV.

NOTE: YuppTV requires a device registration. Follow the steps on the screen to register the account. Visit the YuppTV website for account information and answers to usage questions.

Follow these steps to access the YUPPTV app from the Widgets feature:

NOTE: The Widget feature is not available on all Internet Video devices. Also the Widget feature does not support live video streaming and has limited content compared to the Internet Video feature.

1. Using the supplied remote, press the Home button.
2. Select Widget.
3. Select Yahoo! Connected Store.
4. Locate and download the YUPPTV widget app.

If you are unable to access the YUPPTV app by following either of the steps above, a full factory reset will be required. Follow either of the reset steps below and then repeat the steps above to access the YUPPTV app.

Follow these steps to reset a Sony TV:

1. From the supplied remote, press and hold the up arrow button.
2. While holding down the up arrow on the remote, press the Power button on the TV.

Follow these steps to reset a Sony Blu-ray Disc player:

1. Using the supplied remote, press the Home button.
2. Select Setup.
3. Select Resetting.
4. Select Reset to Factory Default Settings.
5. Select All Settings.
6. Select Start.
