Launched in October 1997, 'Beyond the Pale'
is run by fans, for fans: to help them get in touch with each
other, and to share facts and opinions about the music and its
players. It is an independent website, without commercial
sponsors or ties to any other Procol Harum fan organisation,
nor to the band itself ... though many of the musicians are
known to visit ...
Like the band, this Procol Harum website offers no
gimmicks, but relies on the material to speak for itself. We
hope to be authoritative, occasionally provocative, and,
thanks to numerous contributors worldwide, as comprehensive as
