A story of the USS Hornet's recovery of the Apollo 11 crew and spacecraft. The USS Hornet will be hosting a four day celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moonlanding July 23rd - 26th. Saturday July 25th former crew members who served onboard the USS Hornet during the Apollo 11 mission will be present as well as Bob Fish the Apollo curator from the USS Hornet Museum, Don Blair the only radio newsman onboard the Hornet during the recovery of Apollo 11 and Special Guest Buzz Aldrin - Lunar Module Pilot for Apollo 11 and the second man to walk on the Moon.
