The Supreme Court Building is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. It is closed Saturdays, Sundays and on federal holidays. Visitors are encouraged to take advantage of a variety of educational programs available during their visit including Courtroom lectures, a visitors' film and exhibitions which are changed periodically.

Because this is a working office building, please be aware that the business of the Court may from time to time affect public access to the building or alter programming offered to visitors. To obtain updated information on visiting the Court, including the current Courtroom Lecture schedule, please call 202-479-3211. Before entering the building, all visitors are screened by a magnetometer and all personal items are screened by an x-ray device.
