Arctic Monkeys to headline Reading And Leeds Festival

Arctic Monkeys will headline this year's Reading And Leeds Festivals.

The band will kick off the festival, which takes place between August 28-30, at the northern site on the opening day before heading south to play there the following day.

And NME.COM will have the rest of the headliners for this year's event exclusively from 7pm tonight, plus many more names for this year's bill.

Steve headliners arn't gonna be "original" as they have to be what will attract the most people, the BIG bands. I'm sure they'll have unique bands as well on other stages, I'm hoping for animal collective, tv on the radio and bon iver myself. But wouldn't turn down KOL or Radiohead as headliners!! OH AND WEEZER :):)

Not to bothered about them, but it's just one act for now. I hope they pull someone huge out the bag like AC/DC or Radiohead. Also Kings of Leon are a must!
