Founded in 1882, Journal Communications is a diversified media company with operations in publishing, radio and television broadcasting, and printing services.
We publish the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, which serves as the only major daily newspaper for the Milwaukee metropolitan area, and, through our subsidiary, Journal Community Publishing Group, 46 community newspapers and shoppers in Wisconsin and Florida.
Through Journal Broadcast Group, we own and operate 35 radio stations and eleven television stations in 12 states and operate an additional television station under a local marketing agreement.
We also provide a wide range of commercial printing services, including publications, professional journals and documentation material, as well as electronic publishing, kit assembly and fulfillment through our subsidiary, IPC Print Services.
In addition, we operate PrimeNet, a direct marketing services business.
