Live shows can be nerve racking, however once on stage I really enjoy myself.  The band revel in live performances.  We love to communicate with the audience and encourage them to become involved, by singing along.  I like to explain the story behind Gaelic songs to the audience as this enhances their enjoyment.

My most ‘hairy show’ to date occurred during an Irish Culture Festival, in Easton, Boston in June ’98.  I was on stage during a thunderstorm and two songs into the concert, lightening struck the main electrical line.  I was holding the microphone at the time and as a result, injured my hand, arm and neck.  It completely ‘knocked’ me out for a few months.  This added a whole new dimension to the phrase ‘stage fright’.
