Second Tsukamoto, again quite a nice film, but not completely impressed.

I also had some issues with the too darkened look. I understand the intent, but I still think Tsukamoto would have done better to show just a little more. Could have easily been, without the claustrophobic atmosphere suffering, I think. Fortunately, especially in the beginning, there are a few strong scenes, in which the lighting comes into its own. For example, the scene with those teeth on that tube, and that fall scene are pretty intense.

Sound design is generally good and atmospheric, but mainly those industrial sounds. I am less pleased with the rock/metal-like songs that were smashed through. As far as those whole metaphorical situations are concerned: I liked it, but it didn't have an enormous added value.

Quite nice to have seen, it just doesn't leave real lasting impressions. Will give Vital a try soon. Small 3.0*.

A film for enthusiasts and they won't be in the majority I'm afraid. I should have known it wouldn't suit me. This is a dark film with a great experimental content. No time for building atmosphere and story is of course completely absent. Nothing wrong with that, it's part of the genre. But I personally don't mind that. An exceptional film, but not my thing.

Owké let this sink in for a while, this one came across at times rather dark-psychedelic and above all artistic and experimental, I have nothing against that in the least. Also a lover of that claustrophobic atmosphere.

Sound was nice, yes really nice, I could taste this. These are the kind of movies I like to watch alone, without external interference. Top notch!
