Le Pacte des Loups plot
"The year is 1766... The hunt for a killer has begun."
In Le Pacte des Loups, the scientist Grégoire de Fronsac is sent by Louis XV to the French region of Gévaudan. It is 1766 and brave hunters have been trying to catch a monster for 2 years without success. The Fronsac is actually sent to the Gévaudan so that he can mount the monster once it is captured, but he also decides to hunt this mysterious beast himself. During his quest, he is assisted by his blood brother Mani and the young aristocrat Thomas D'Apcher. De Fronsac finds out that there is more going on in the Gévaudan than he first suspected.
