Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead plot
"What you don't see will kill you."
Fonda and her friends go into the woods for a few days. Her friends are murdered by a disfigured cannibal who lives in this forest called Three Finger. Of course he then eats them. Fonda is now alone in the woods, but not for long. Meanwhile, some dangerous inmates are transported by Nate Warden, a prison guard. This is his last day, he will become a lawyer after this job. During the transport, they drive through the forest and the truck is attacked by Three Finger.

After a great part 1 and 2 there is suddenly this.
This is exactly what few people wait for, cheap and bad hillbillies. That annoying smile removes all tension and speed in the story.
Gore is also very mediocre. I don't understand how a part can slip after an excellent 1 and 2. And that they then make 3 more parts with exactly the same annoying guys. Very mediocre movie.

Re-watched again today, about as good as the previous part 2.
Nice idea a couple of prisoners with guards run off the road and have to find a way out through the forest chased by the cannibals, on the way they also meet a girl who is also on the run from the cannibals.
About as much gore as the 2nd part and the ending was good again, the only thing I regretted was that there were so few cannibals / monsters to see compared to the other films.
On to part 4.
