"Evil will do anything to live."
All her life, Casey Beldon (Odette Yustman) has hated her mother for leaving her at a young age. But when Casey is plagued by nightmares and haunted by ghosts, she gradually begins to understand what was her mother's reason for doing this. Slowly but surely she finds out that a ghost is taking over her body and she must do everything to stop it. Her only rescue seems to be a man named Sendak (Gary Oldman)...

Does what it should.
The Unborn is cliched and offers no surprise to people who have seen many of these demon movies. Except that this is not a (pre)Christian demon, but a Jewish Dybbuk.
But if you just want some mindless entertainment and need some predictable scares, then this is a great film. However, for the slightly better "Dybbukfilm" I recommend The Possession (2012). 2.5*

Watched this short film, but it wasn't all that special. Fairly predictable and the cast wasn't that special. The special effects were still good, so this was another plus.
