Mutiny in the Big House plot
"JAIL BREAK! Snarling killers riot...and only a brave man with a prayer stands in their way to freedom!"
A young man forges a check to help his mother, but is caught and sentenced to 14 years in prison. The chief guard of the prison sees that the new inmate is actually a good man who has suffered adversity and tries to help him as much as possible so that he can serve his sentence without any problems. His cellmate, a tough bandit, sees the guard's help to the young prisoner as something he can use in his planned escape.
