Leaves of the Tree plot

Patrick (Eric Roberts) was once a strong lawyer. Struggling with a life-threatening illness, he has to leave his current case. During a meeting with his latest client, Patrick meets a doctor from Sicily who has discovered a drug that can save him. The medicine is made from the leaves of an ancient olive tree. Patrick decides to investigate to find out if the story is real, dealing with faith, hope, doubt and struggles to discover what life means to him.
