It's December 31, 1952, and Hank Williams is on his way to his New Years Eve concert in the car, daydreaming about the gig he'll be giving that night in Ohio. During that performance, he not only sings his well-known songs, but also occasionally expresses a wish and occasionally talks about his life. At that moment, however, his life takes place in the backseat of a car and something is about to happen that he never thought possible in his wildest dreams.
