What a boring movie. That I still give a 2.5 is purely for the acting performance. Other than that, hardly anything happens. I think I'm very proud of myself for watching this movie.

“You're so stubborn. I love that about you.”

With this film, Paul Walker shows once again what a fantastic actor he is as long as the material is good. Especially in the beginning Walker has a number of scenes in which he really makes an impression. The grief for his dead wife, and at the same time the joy for the birth of his daughter, is convincingly conveyed by Walker. Hours as a film, especially in the middle part, falls a bit short, and at a certain point it gets a bit repetitive. The flashbacks make up for something, especially because of the nice chemistry between Walker and Rodriguez.

In the last film that Paul Walker completed before his tragic death as a result of a car accident. He plays the role of Nolan Hayes, a new father who is helping his wife [Genesis Rodriguez] give birth to their first child. That's not all: his daughter is not yet able to breathe on her own and is therefore dependent on a respirator. When Hurricane Katrina hits, the hospital is evacuated but Nolan is left alone with his daughter. When the electricity goes out, he can only keep his daughter alive with a generator that he has to manually recharge every few minutes. Thrilling thriller regularly presents Nolan with a new problem and uses flashbacks sparingly but effectively. And Walker appears to be able to act. He may have died way too young, but this is a worthy closing.
