El Secreto del Orfebre plot

1999. Juan Pablo, a skilled goldsmith, embarks on a journey to New York, where he will exhibit some of his latest works. Before leaving, a visit to his hometown brings back memories of 25 years earlier. He is immersed in a flashback that takes him back to the summer when he met the woman who would mark him for life: Celia, a forty-year-old seamstress. The age difference between the two made their love story a foretold failure. Determined to change their fate, Juan Pablo sets out to rewrite their story, making a solemn promise to Celia.
