Aventure de Catherine C. plot

Paris-based actress Christine Crachat is unhappy and dissatisfied with her career. When she comes into contact with the mathematician Pierre Indemini, she forgets her worries and feels somewhat happy. After a while she decides to break up with him and leaves for Vienna to shoot her new film. On the set, she meets a huge fan, the wealthy Fanny Hohenstein. During the shooting she stays with Fanny, until she hears rumors about her hostess. Fanny's love life turns out to be a strange history in which a number of suicides have taken place.
