The Killing Room plot
With the goal of earning a little more money, four volunteers sign up for a paid psychological research study. Instead, the four face one of the worst nights of their lives. They face a deadly classified government program instituted 20 years ago.

I had a look at this one without much expectations, but I was very pleasantly surprised. I thought it was a surprising film with a lot of unexpected twists. I was very fascinated with how the film was going to end. I certainly didn't find the ending disappointing.
I actually thought the movie was going to be a lot more about booby traps ("Saw meets Cube" it said on the box) and so on, but this wasn't the case. The film was much more psychologically oriented, but this is not to say that no blood is spilled.
We certainly couldn't complain about the cast. Not a top cast, but it certainly wasn't miserable.
Pleasantly surprised.

Wow... what a strange movie, original story... Very surprising ending... Not for sensitive viewers... Rehab afterwards with a beer...

Not bad.
But also no more than that. Probe. Because you take an interesting subject, but then little is done with it. That's kind of what will stay with me. Great subject, but the oppression is missing. This is mainly because the film simply has nothing to offer audiovisually, and the acting is substandard. The story goes on and on, and it never really gets boring.
