The Absolute Truth plot
"When you're betrayed by the people you love the most, who can you trust?"
In the midst of an exciting race for the presidential title, Alison, a producer, gets hold of incriminating material against one of the candidates. Senator Hunter is about to win the election but is accused of sexual harassment via anonymous letters. Alison and the journalist Jake, who is also her lover, investigate. When Alison is able to tape a testimony, Jake suddenly withdraws. In addition, the key witness wishes to remain absolutely anonymous. Alison is determined to block Senator Hunter, but meanwhile suspects Jake of working with Hunter.
