After many years of studying in Germany, Karl returns to his family in Argentina, just before the outbreak of World War II. His family is shocked at his Nazi sympathies. When war breaks out, Karl goes back to Germany to join Hitler's army. His cousin Julio, a playboy without much political interest, decides to go to Europe too, but to fight against the Nazis.
