"Whatever Life Throws at You."
The story focuses on Gus, an old scout for the Atlanta Braves with vision problems. His daughter Mickey reluctantly accepts to be his eyes on a crucial recruiting mission. They are joined by Johnny, a scout from a rival team, who has always been very loyal to Gus.

Damn, what a bad aftertaste.
For a long time it's fine, a most charming drama.
Eastwood is a bit tiring, but hey, the story keeps flowing nicely.
Just an average movie.
Until the terribly sweet and unbelievable end.
Predictable, unnecessary, and frankly too easily rushed.
A slight fail is still merciful. *2.5

Eastwood in this movie 82. Respect.
But to play the part of a man who is in danger of losing his job. Boy. Very vital for his age. But to make him think that he is not yet of the age to retire....
