Saigon plot
"The Paris of the Orient!"
Major Larry Briggs learns after World War II that his flight partner Captain Mike Perry has only a short time to live, despite all the doctors' efforts. With the dubious Zlex Maris, Larry accepts a well-paid job as a pilot so that he has the financial means to give his friend a good time. When the two friends meet Maris' secretary Susan Cleaver, Mike immediately falls in love with her. Larry tells Susan about Mike and asks her to play along out of respect for his physical condition. But in reality, Susan is in love with Larry.
