1854. The West Point cadets get into a fight over the slavery issue and as punishment they are sent to the worst troubled area after their promotion. Where the railroad ends and the old Santa Fe trail begins, a lot of blood will flow as long as Kansas has not made a choice to become a slave state or a free state.
