303 plot
Pregnant student Jule is on her way to Portugal to find her friend Alex who works in a commune. On the way she picks up the hitchhiker Jan, who wants to go to a Spanish fishing village to find his biological father. They are both passionate, not very diplomatic and they like to philosophize. They discuss capitalism, relationships, human nature and love. And they fall in love.

Film evokes a bit of memory of Before Sunrise and its sequels, in terms of banter between
2 young people (A young man and a young lady) who meet each other by chance, albeit in...
this film with more emotions due to deep personal backgrounds. And there is here
mainly a road movie, with many friendly, beautiful moments, and almost
gets the urge to go out with such a camper. With a lot of interesting philosophizing, that you
invites you to think along. Both characters are extremely sympathetic without being exaggerated,
with a subtle development of reciprocal, warm feelings between the two.
A calm film, in all its simplicity invigorating and a breath of fresh air, especially thanks to the naturalness
acting from both actors.

There is less talking in a talk show. Boring movie to watch. 145 slow minutes. The female lead, on the other hand, is well played.

A beautiful road movie with two different characters. The journey starts at Tempelhofer Feld in Berlin and heads towards Spain. The title of the film refers to the tour bus model. Better known as a Mercedes-Benz O 303. The camper in which the two main characters make this journey is actually a Mercedes-Benz Hymer T1 650. The script was 270 pages long. Hans Weingartner recorded it in its entirety because he couldn't imagine how to shorten the story to the length of a feature film. The footage was then cut into a six-episode TV show. This was released three years later as "303 - Die Serie." Only then could he think of a way to tell the story in this shorter feature film.
Good acting, beautiful surroundings and deep philosophy make for an entertaining ride.
