Valley Uprising plot
Documentary describing the development and protagonists of Yosemite Valley's sixty-year climbing history. From the 1950s, Yosemite Park grew into the rock climbing mecca. For the beatniks and outlaws of that good time, this place was a huge draw for achieving the ultimate form of freedom. Especially in the years that followed, this nature park became the Woodstock for rebellious adventurers who set up camps with zero budget to take rock climbing to an ever higher level from there. And still, a new generation of free-spirited climbers are flocking to Yosemite's crags to push the boundaries of terrifying free soloing (without ropes and bare hands) and speed climbing.
